Travis + Erin = married

I met Travis & Erin 11 years ago while working at Sunnyside Restaurant in North Lake Tahoe one summer.  It must have been the summer made for love because I met my husband then, and there were quite a few others that met on that restaurant deck.   I miss that place!  Fast forward some years and here they are getting married!   They decided to have a destination wedding in So Cal and asked me to come up to photograph their special day.   They started with a ceremony in the hills of Thousand Oaks at Sherwood Country Club.  It was a hot beautiful Spring day and such a gorgeous setting.  We then took a drive down to the coast of Malibu for the reception at the beach at Duke's...all in all... a beautiful wedding and even more beautiful couple.

a bun in the oven

I just love a sunlit field in the evenings... and I just love a beautiful baby bump....and I absolutely adore photographing new parents.   The anticipation, the want, the nerves, the excitement....the LOVE.   This couple was visiting from Sonoma and we were lucky enough to find an evening to take a few shots of baby Wesson all tucked away in his Mother's gorgeous belly.

Meet Baby Emerson

Taking newborn photos might be my favorite.   My kids are getting so big now, and having the opportunity to love on such sweet innocence, makes me smile.    Meet Baby Emerson, only 6 days young, with perfect lips, beautiful parents, and a sweet personality.   There is something so special about your first baby.  Yes...your world is rocked, you don't sleep, it isn't about YOU anymore...but your life will never be better.   Congratulations Matt & Melissa!  Thank you for allowing me to photograph this perfect moment in your lives.  I can't wait to see baby E grow!
