Summer is here!

Thursday, June 20, 2013

In searching some of my favorite photography sites/blogs, I came across the Rock the Shot June Photo Challenge and had, what I felt, was just the right image for it!    This image was recently taken out at our friends Lake House.   Just a fun (and hot) afternoon lakeside, swinging and letting the hair flow.    Ahhhh, to be young again.    Meet Shay...

Rock the Shot

pure JOY

Thursday, April 19, 2012

This lucky little lady has 2 sets of grandparents that absolutely adore her!    It is rare that they are all in the same town at the same time, so of course this was the perfect opportunity for some family photos!  This is my second time photographing Kaya.  It was just a few short months ago that we dressed her up, put her in a box, and took her newborn pictures!   She is such a sweet little girl and obviously a pure JOY for her parents and grandparents.

Hope to see you again soon little one!

Paige turns {seven}

Saturday, March 31, 2012

Today was my niece's 7th birthday party.  I can't believe she is 7 already....that means I am getting old.....  She wanted to have her birthday party at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, and what a great idea that was!   I mean, who doesn't LOVE froyo?   I often make it a reward for my own kids just so I can go eat it!   I am a total sucker for it, and apparently Paige is too.   My sister asked me to bring my camera along to take a few pics....Enjoy... and Happy Birthday to the most beautiful, smart, sweet, and sassy {seven} year olds I know.  Love you Paige.

wait....the only thing missing here is a picture of ME with her?!   Bummer:(

Little Liam

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

First of all, I have to mention that these 2 made my job EASY!!   Seriously, can you get more photogenic and gorgeous??  I am thinking... NO....  This shoot was mainly to focus on Liam and his obvious love for his Mommy... you see, he will soon be a Big Brother and will have to share!   We all had a blast running around in the dirt, throwing leaves, & climbing on trains....all things little boys are cut out to do!   I look forward to capturing the rest of the family this Spring....
