New Life for a New Year

I can't believe I haven't posted anything for almost 5 months!!   How terrible is that?    I was able to photograph so many amazing families toward the end of 2012 and I just simply worked myself into the ground and didn't have time to update.      On top of it... it was the holidays and we moved.     However, I am happy to say that I am back!    I took some much needed time off to settle into our new home, enjoy my family, and get refreshed.  

Meet John, Amy, Ruby, and baby boy in the belly.... I am so excited for them to welcome their baby next month.   First pregnancies are always so special.   Right now, Ruby (the cute dog) thinks she is the queen, but she has another thing coming!

Here comes BABY

Meet Brandt & Michelle and their beautiful baby bump.    Seriously, I had such a hard time going through these pics.....only because I couldn't choose which ones to keep!   They were all so stunning!   I always think the first pregnancy of a couple is something so special.   I am so excited for them to welcome their baby boy in September. Congrats you two.. and thanks for making me look good:)

a bun in the oven

I just love a sunlit field in the evenings... and I just love a beautiful baby bump....and I absolutely adore photographing new parents.   The anticipation, the want, the nerves, the excitement....the LOVE.   This couple was visiting from Sonoma and we were lucky enough to find an evening to take a few shots of baby Wesson all tucked away in his Mother's gorgeous belly.

....and baby makes 5

I have been such a lagger blogging this past month!   Being a part time working Mom, with a hobby of photography can sometimes pull me in more directions that I can physically go in!   So, I apologize Henley family for taking a few weeks to get your session blogged!

I love meeting new clients and being pleasantly surprised of their fun, enthusiasm, and heart warming smiles.   Will is 5 and about to be a big brother for the 2nd time... you can tell he is a sweet boy, with those sparkling blues and gentle way with his sister.  3 year old Molly is sure to be the "monkey" in the middle!  She has such a hilarious personality, we laughed the entire time!    And then there is baby #3, all snuggly and warm in that beautiful belly.

Such a pleasure...can't wait to meet the little guy!

Summer is right around the corner

Summer... as in baby Summer!  What a perfect name for a beach baby whose parents grew up in Florida, he is in the Coast Guard, they lived in Kauai, and now San Diego....  I love photographing baby bumps, especially those of a new Mom.  There is such excitement, anticipation, and GLOW!   This mama-to-be was no different.   Just looking at Mom & Dad, you know she is going to a beauty.  Can't wait to meet her!
